Description
Delicious shrimp tacos filled with fresh cilantro lime slaw and drizzled with creamy sriracha sauce.
Ingredients
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1/2 tsp cumin
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 8 small corn tortillas
- 1 cup shredded cabbage
- 1/2 cup cilantro, chopped
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp sriracha sauce
- Juice of 1 lime
Instructions
- Toss the shrimp with olive oil, chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until evenly coated. Let marinate for about 10 minutes.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat, and add the shrimp. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until pink and opaque.
- Mix together the mayonnaise, sriracha sauce, and lime juice in another bowl until smooth and creamy.
- Combine the shredded cabbage and chopped cilantro to create the slaw.
- Warm the corn tortillas in a pan or microwave for about 15-20 seconds until soft.
- Assemble the tacos by placing shrimp on each tortilla, topping with slaw, and drizzling with the creamy sriracha sauce.
- Serve immediately while warm and fresh.
Notes
For a crispier slaw, consider adding sliced radishes or jicama. You can also marinate shrimp longer for deeper flavor.
