Description

Elevate classic deviled eggs with a creamy, zesty filling featuring chili garlic sauce for a spicy twist.

Ingredients

  • 6 large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon chili garlic sauce
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • Salt to taste
  • Chopped green onions or chives for garnish
  • Paprika for garnish

Instructions

  1. Hard boil the eggs by placing them in a pot, covering them with water, and bringing it to a boil. Once boiling, cover the pot and remove it from heat, letting the eggs sit for 12 minutes.
  2. Transfer the eggs to an ice bath for about 5 minutes to cool down rapidly.
  3. Peel the eggs and cut them in half lengthwise.
  4. Remove the yolks and place them in a mixing bowl.
  5. Mash the yolks with mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, chili garlic sauce, soy sauce, and salt to create a smooth mixture.
  6. Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture back into the hollowed egg whites.
  7. Garnish with chopped green onions and a sprinkle of paprika for added color and flavor.
  8. Serve chilled for the best taste.

Notes

For a creamier texture, consider adding an extra tablespoon of mayonnaise. Chili garlic sauce can be found in Asian grocery stores or international aisles.
