Description
A rich and creamy pasta dish that cooks in just one pot, perfect for busy weeknights.
Ingredients
- 8 oz pasta (such as fettuccine or penne)
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups milk
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant and golden (don’t let it burn!).
- Add the pasta and pour in the milk. Bring to a gentle simmer and cook for about 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally—this will help the pasta absorb the flavors and prevent sticking.
- Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and well combined. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.
Notes
For a creamy texture, add a splash of milk when reheating leftovers.
