Description
A delicious and easy one-pan dish featuring tender chicken thighs glazed with honey BBQ sauce, served on a bed of fluffy rice and colorful vegetables.
Ingredients
- 4 chicken thighs
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/2 cup BBQ sauce
- 1 cup rice
- 1 1/2 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup vegetables (bell peppers, onions)
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Combine honey and BBQ sauce in a mixing bowl.
- Season the chicken thighs with salt and pepper, then coat each with the honey BBQ mixture.
- Add the rice and chicken broth to a baking dish, mixing well.
- Place the coated chicken thighs on top of the rice.
- Scatter chopped vegetables over the chicken.
- Cover with foil and bake for 25-30 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until the chicken is golden.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
For added flavor, marinate the chicken for a while before cooking. You can substitute honey with maple syrup if needed.
