Ingredients
- 1 lb. Mahi Mahi fillets
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 8 small corn or flour tortillas
- 1 cup shredded cabbage
- 1 avocado, sliced
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
- Lime wedges for serving
- Optional for the Zesty Sauce:
- 1/2 cup sour cream or Greek yogurt
- 2 tbsp fresh lime juice
- 1 tsp honey or agave syrup
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Prepare the Fish: Rinse the Mahi Mahi fillets under cold water and pat them dry with a paper towel.
- Season the Fillets: Mix the olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper in a small bowl and brush it over the fillets.
- Cook the Mahi Mahi: Heat a non-stick skillet and cook the fillets for about 5-7 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- Warm the Tortillas: Warm the tortillas in a separate skillet over medium heat for about 30 seconds on each side.
- Prepare the Zesty Sauce (optional): Mix sour cream, lime juice, honey, and a pinch of salt in a small bowl.
- Assemble the Tacos: Flake the cooked Mahi Mahi over the warm tortillas, top with cabbage, avocado, cilantro, and drizzle with zesty sauce.
- Serve: Squeeze fresh lime juice over the tacos and enjoy!
