Description

Warm tortillas filled with flaky Mahi Mahi, garlicky salsa, and zesty lime crema for a flavorful taco experience.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb. Mahi Mahi fillets
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 8 small corn or flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded cabbage
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • Lime wedges for serving
  • Optional for the Zesty Sauce:
  • 1/2 cup sour cream or Greek yogurt
  • 2 tbsp fresh lime juice
  • 1 tsp honey or agave syrup
  • Salt to taste


Instructions

  1. Prepare the Fish: Rinse the Mahi Mahi fillets under cold water and pat them dry with a paper towel.
  2. Season the Fillets: Mix the olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper in a small bowl and brush it over the fillets.
  3. Cook the Mahi Mahi: Heat a non-stick skillet and cook the fillets for about 5-7 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  4. Warm the Tortillas: Warm the tortillas in a separate skillet over medium heat for about 30 seconds on each side.
  5. Prepare the Zesty Sauce (optional): Mix sour cream, lime juice, honey, and a pinch of salt in a small bowl.
  6. Assemble the Tacos: Flake the cooked Mahi Mahi over the warm tortillas, top with cabbage, avocado, cilantro, and drizzle with zesty sauce.
  7. Serve: Squeeze fresh lime juice over the tacos and enjoy!
