Description

A flavorful Lemon Chicken recipe that combines garlic, Parmesan, and zesty lemon for a comforting and gourmet meal.


Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon parsley, chopped (for garnish)


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Combine the Parmesan cheese, flour, salt, and pepper in a shallow bowl, mixing well to create an even coating.
  3. Dredge each chicken breast in the mixture, ensuring they are well coated on all sides.
  4. Heat olive oil and 2 tablespoons of butter in a large skillet over medium heat until melted.
  5. Add the chicken breasts into the skillet and cook until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes on each side.
  6. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  7. Toss in the remaining butter and minced garlic into the same skillet; sauté until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
  8. Pour in the lemon juice and chicken broth, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan.
  9. Return the chicken to the skillet, spooning the sauce over each piece.
  10. Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and juices run clear.
  11. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve hot.
