Description

Delightful ham and cheese egg cups that are easy to make and perfect for quick breakfasts or brunch gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 12 slices of ham
  • 12 eggs
  • 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • Green onions for garnish


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F to ensure a uniform cooking temperature.
  2. Lightly grease a muffin tin to prevent sticking. Arrange 12 slices of ham into the muffin cups, forming a little cup shape.
  3. Distribute the 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese evenly into each ham-lined cup.
  4. Crack 1 egg into each ham and cheese-filled cup, filling them to the brim. Season each with a pinch of salt and pepper.
  5. Place the muffin tin in the oven and bake for 15-18 minutes until the eggs are set yet still slightly jiggly in the middle.
  6. Remove from the oven and let cool for a minute. Top with chopped green onions before serving.

Notes

You can substitute ham with turkey bacon or vegetables for a vegetarian option.
