Ingredients
- 4 pork chops
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Season the pork chops: Generously season both sides of the pork chops with salt and pepper.
- Melt the butter: In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium-high heat until bubbling, approximately 2 minutes.
- Add the minced garlic to the skillet, sautéing for about 1 minute until fragrant and slightly golden.
- Place the seasoned pork chops in the skillet without overcrowding and sear on one side for 4-5 minutes.
- Carefully flip the chops and continue cooking for another 4-5 minutes until they reach an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
- Remove the pork chops from the skillet and let them rest for 5 minutes.
- Finish with a sprinkle of chopped parsley for garnish, and serve.
Notes
For best results, allow pork chops to sit at room temperature before cooking. You can mix in herbs or spices based on your preference.
