Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs beef stew meat
- 1 lb small potatoes, halved
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 cup beef broth
Instructions
- Prepare the Base: In a slow cooker, place the beef stew meat and season it generously with salt, black pepper, and dried thyme.
- Layer the Potatoes: Next, add the halved potatoes directly on top of the seasoned beef.
- Make the Garlic Butter: In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, approximately 1-2 minutes.
- Combine Ingredients: Pour the garlic butter evenly over the meat and potatoes, then add the beef broth.
- Slow Cook: Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the beef is tender.
- Serve & Enjoy: Serve warm right from the slow cooker.
