Description

Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs beef stew meat
  • 1 lb small potatoes, halved
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 cup beef broth


Instructions

  1. Prepare the Base: In a slow cooker, place the beef stew meat and season it generously with salt, black pepper, and dried thyme.
  2. Layer the Potatoes: Next, add the halved potatoes directly on top of the seasoned beef.
  3. Make the Garlic Butter: In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, approximately 1-2 minutes.
  4. Combine Ingredients: Pour the garlic butter evenly over the meat and potatoes, then add the beef broth.
  5. Slow Cook: Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the beef is tender.

Notes
