Description

A warm, spicy bowl of ramen loaded with flavor, featuring tender chicken and a creamy garlic sauce.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups ramen noodles (fresh or instant)
  • 1 pound chicken breast, sliced thinly
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons sriracha (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
  • 1 tablespoon green onions, chopped (for garnishing)

Instructions

  1. Cook the noodles: In a large pot, bring water to a boil. Add the ramen noodles and cook for 4-5 minutes, or until they are tender. Drain and set aside, tossing them with a splash of sesame oil to prevent sticking.
  2. Prepare the chicken: Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the sliced chicken along with the soy sauce and sriracha. Cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the chicken is no longer pink and slightly caramelized.
  3. Make the sauce: Reduce heat to medium and add minced garlic and ginger to the skillet. Sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant, then pour in the chicken broth and heavy cream. Stir continuously, allowing the sauce to bubble at the edges for about 4 minutes, or until it begins to thicken slightly.
  4. Combine the ingredients: Add the cooked noodles to the sauce, stirring gently to combine. Cook for 2 more minutes, allowing the noodles to soak up the flavors until the sauce thickens enough to coat the noodles.
  5. Serve: Immediately dish the fiery chicken ramen into bowls, garnishing with chopped green onions for a fresh finish.

Notes

For a creamier sauce, whisk in additional heavy cream or a splash of coconut milk. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
