Tender salmon fillets infused with fresh basil and bright lemon, baked to perfection for a healthy and flavorful dish.
Ingredients
- 4 salmon fillets
- 2 tablespoons fresh basil, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Parchment paper
- Aluminum foil
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Mix together the basil, garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, salt, and pepper in a small bowl.
- Place each salmon fillet on a piece of parchment paper.
- Spoon the basil mixture over each fillet.
- Fold the parchment over the salmon and wrap in aluminum foil.
- Bake on a baking sheet for 15-20 minutes.
- Carefully open the foil and parchment, and serve warm.
Notes
For added flavor, consider marinating the salmon in the basil mixture for an hour before baking.
