Description

Tender salmon fillets infused with fresh basil and bright lemon, baked to perfection for a healthy and flavorful dish.


Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 2 tablespoons fresh basil, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Parchment paper
  • Aluminum foil


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Mix together the basil, garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, salt, and pepper in a small bowl.
  3. Place each salmon fillet on a piece of parchment paper.
  4. Spoon the basil mixture over each fillet.
  5. Fold the parchment over the salmon and wrap in aluminum foil.
  6. Bake on a baking sheet for 15-20 minutes.
  7. Carefully open the foil and parchment, and serve warm.

Notes

For added flavor, consider marinating the salmon in the basil mixture for an hour before baking.
