Description
A flavor-packed dish featuring ground turkey, crispy vegetables, and a creamy spicy sauce atop fluffy jasmine rice.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 2 cups cooked jasmine rice
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup sweet chili sauce
- 1 tablespoon sriracha sauce
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- 1 cup chopped red bell pepper
- 1 cup chopped carrots
- 1 cup chopped broccoli
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 green onions, sliced
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
Instructions
- Begin by cooking jasmine rice according to package instructions, so it is warm when needed.
- In a small bowl, combine the mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha sauce, and lime juice to create the bang bang sauce. Mix well and set aside.
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add the olive oil.
- Add the ground turkey to the skillet, breaking it apart with a spoon. Cook for about 7-10 minutes or until browned and no longer pink.
- Once the turkey is cooked through, add the soy sauce, salt, and pepper to taste. Stir well to combine, cooking for another minute.
- Next, add the chopped red bell pepper, carrots, and broccoli. Cook for an additional 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Remove the skillet from heat and mix in half of the bang bang sauce.
- To serve, place a mound of cooked jasmine rice into bowls and top with the turkey and vegetable mixture.
- Drizzle remaining bang bang sauce over each bowl and garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
Notes
