Description

A flavor-packed dish featuring ground turkey, crispy vegetables, and a creamy spicy sauce atop fluffy jasmine rice.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 2 cups cooked jasmine rice
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha sauce
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 cup chopped red bell pepper
  • 1 cup chopped carrots
  • 1 cup chopped broccoli
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Begin by cooking jasmine rice according to package instructions, so it is warm when needed.
  2. In a small bowl, combine the mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha sauce, and lime juice to create the bang bang sauce. Mix well and set aside.
  3. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add the olive oil.
  4. Add the ground turkey to the skillet, breaking it apart with a spoon. Cook for about 7-10 minutes or until browned and no longer pink.
  5. Once the turkey is cooked through, add the soy sauce, salt, and pepper to taste. Stir well to combine, cooking for another minute.
  6. Next, add the chopped red bell pepper, carrots, and broccoli. Cook for an additional 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  7. Remove the skillet from heat and mix in half of the bang bang sauce.
  8. To serve, place a mound of cooked jasmine rice into bowls and top with the turkey and vegetable mixture.
  9. Drizzle remaining bang bang sauce over each bowl and garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds.
  10. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

For a lighter version, substitute Greek yogurt for mayonnaise. Adapt vegetables based on preference and availability.
