Ingredients
- 1 salmon fillet
- 2 tablespoons ghee (or olive oil)
- 3 cloves of garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons fresh rosemary, chopped
- 2 tablespoons fresh thyme, chopped
- Juice of 1 lemon
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to a high temperature of around 400°F (200°C).
- Prepare the foil: Tear off a piece of aluminum foil large enough to wrap around the salmon fillet completely.
- Place the salmon fillet on the center of the foil sheet, skin side down if applicable.
- Mix the flavors: In a bowl, combine melted ghee, minced garlic, chopped rosemary, chopped thyme, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Stir until well mixed.
- Pour the mixture over the salmon, ensuring it’s evenly coated.
- Wrap the foil securely around the salmon to create a packet.
- Bake the foil packet on a baking sheet for about 15-20 minutes.
- Serve: Carefully unwrap the foil and transfer the salmon to a plate.
Notes
For extra flavor, drizzle with additional lemon juice and garnish with sprigs of fresh rosemary or thyme before serving.
