Description

A delicious and easy baked salmon recipe infused with garlic, rosemary, and thyme, cooked in foil for a delightful, moist meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 salmon fillet
  • 2 tablespoons ghee (or olive oil)
  • 3 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh rosemary, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons fresh thyme, chopped
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to a high temperature of around 400°F (200°C).
  2. Prepare the foil: Tear off a piece of aluminum foil large enough to wrap around the salmon fillet completely.
  3. Place the salmon fillet on the center of the foil sheet, skin side down if applicable.
  4. Mix the flavors: In a bowl, combine melted ghee, minced garlic, chopped rosemary, chopped thyme, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Stir until well mixed.
  5. Pour the mixture over the salmon, ensuring it’s evenly coated.
  6. Wrap the foil securely around the salmon to create a packet.
  7. Bake the foil packet on a baking sheet for about 15-20 minutes.
  8. Serve: Carefully unwrap the foil and transfer the salmon to a plate.

Notes

For extra flavor, drizzle with additional lemon juice and garnish with sprigs of fresh rosemary or thyme before serving.
