Description

A delicious and effortless take on the Italian classic Baked Chicken Parmesan, featuring juicy chicken, marinara sauce, and bubbly mozzarella.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Combine breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl.
  3. Coat each chicken breast thoroughly in the breadcrumb mixture.
  4. Place the coated chicken in a greased baking dish, ensuring they aren’t overcrowded.
  5. Drizzle a bit of olive oil over the top.
  6. Bake for 20 minutes until the chicken reaches 165°F (74°C).
  7. Spoon marinara sauce on top of each baked chicken breast.
  8. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the marinara and return to the oven for an additional 10-15 minutes.
