Description

A savory breakfast casserole made with crispy tater tots, hearty sausage, and melted cheddar cheese, perfect for busy mornings or brunch gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound sausage
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 4 cups tater tots
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • Black pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the sausage in a skillet over medium heat for about 7-10 minutes until browned.
  3. Whisk together eggs, milk, garlic, onion, and black pepper in a large bowl.
  4. Grease a casserole dish with non-stick spray or butter and layer tater tots across the bottom.
  5. Sprinkle cooked sausage evenly on top of the tater tots.
  6. Pour the egg mixture over the tater tots and sausage.
  7. Top generously with shredded cheddar cheese.
  8. Bake for 30-40 minutes until eggs are set and cheese is bubbly.
  9. Cool for about 10 minutes before serving.
