Description

A comforting and crowd-pleasing casserole featuring crispy tater tots, rich ground beef, and melted cheese, perfect for busy weeknights.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 bag frozen tater tots
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: peas or corn


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef and chopped onion. Drain excess fat.
  3. Stir in the cream of mushroom soup until evenly combined.
  4. Spread the beef and soup mixture in a greased baking dish.
  5. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top.
  6. Layer the frozen tater tots over the cheese.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the tater tots are golden brown.
  8. Let it cool slightly before serving.
