Description

Enjoy tender chicken coated in a sticky sauce served over fluffy rice for a satisfying meal.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 1 lb chicken thighs, boneless and skinless
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • Green onions, sliced (for garnish)
  • Sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, garlic, and ginger to make the sauce.
  2. In a skillet, heat sesame oil over medium heat and add chicken. Cook until browned and cooked through, about 7-10 minutes.
  3. Pour the sauce over the chicken and let it simmer for about 3-5 minutes until thickened.
  4. Serve the chicken over cooked rice and garnish with green onions and sesame seeds. Enjoy your meal!

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in the sauce for about 30 minutes before cooking. You can use jasmine or basmati rice for a more aromatic base.
