Description

Delicious Smash Burgers with a creamy house sauce, perfect for quick dinners or cookouts.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20 blend)
  • 4 soft burger buns
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup dill pickles, sliced
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix together mayonnaise, ketchup, Dijon mustard, and smoked paprika to make the house sauce.
  2. Preheat a griddle or cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Shape ground beef into six loose balls (about 6 ounces each).
  4. Place each ball on the hot surface and smash it down with a spatula. Season generously with salt and pepper.
  5. Cook for about 2 minutes until crispy, then flip the patties and add shredded cheese on top.
  6. Cover loosely until the cheese melts (about 1 minute).
  7. Assemble the burgers by spreading house sauce on both bun halves. Place a patty on one half, add pickles if desired, and top with the other half.

Notes

Serve with fries or salad. Customize toppings as desired.
