Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- Salt and pepper
- Bacon strips
- Cheddar cheese slices
- 1 large onion, caramelized
- Burger buns
Instructions
- Preheat a skillet or griddle over medium-high heat.
- Form the ground beef into golf ball-sized balls.
- Place the balls on the skillet and smash them down with a spatula until thin.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Cook for about 2-3 minutes until the edges are crispy.
- Add a slice of cheddar cheese on top and let it melt.
- Meanwhile, cook the bacon until crispy.
- Toast the burger buns lightly.
- Assemble the burgers by placing the patty on the bun, topped with caramelized onions and bacon.
- Serve hot.
Notes
Use freshly ground beef for better flavor and don’t overwork the meat when forming the balls.
