Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 can beans (kidney or black beans)
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 2 tablespoons homemade chili seasoning
  • 1 onion (chopped)
  • 1 bell pepper (chopped)
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. In a skillet, brown the ground beef with chopped onion and bell pepper. Drain excess fat.
  2. Transfer the beef mixture to a slow cooker.
  3. Add beans, diced tomatoes, chili seasoning, salt, and pepper to the slow cooker.
  4. Stir to combine.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 360 minutes (6 hours) or on high for 240 minutes (4 hours).
