Description

A delightful dish that combines the heartiness of sausage with the freshness of spinach and the rich flavor of tomato, perfect for a cozy dinner at home.


Ingredients

  • 12 oz rigatoni pasta
  • 1 lb Italian sausage (ground)
  • 2 cups fresh spinach
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for cooking


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the rigatoni pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the ground Italian sausage and cook until browned.
  4. Stir in the fresh spinach and cook until wilted.
  5. In a large bowl, combine the cooked rigatoni, sausage mixture, marinara sauce, chicken broth, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  6. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and top with shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese.
