Description

Delightful treat combining rich red velvet flavor with creamy cheesecake, perfect for celebrations.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon red food coloring
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (for cheesecake layer)


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8×8 inch baking pan.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix melted butter and sugar until combined, then add eggs, food coloring, and vanilla.
  4. Gradually mix in the dry ingredients until just combined.
  5. In a separate bowl, beat cream cheese with powdered sugar and vanilla until smooth.
  6. Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared pan, then dollop the cream cheese mixture on top.
  7. Spoon the remaining brownie batter over the cheesecake layer and swirl gently with a knife.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  9. Let cool before slicing into bars and serving.

Notes
