Description
Deliciously crispy parmesan crusted chicken breasts served with a creamy garlic sauce.
Ingredients
- 4 Chicken Breasts
- 1 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
- 1 cup Breadcrumbs
- 2 Eggs
- 2 tablespoons Garlic Powder
- Salt and Pepper to Taste
- 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
- 1 cup Heavy Cream
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon Chopped Parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a shallow dish, combine Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- In another dish, beat the eggs.
- Dip each chicken breast into the egg mixture, then coat it in the Parmesan and breadcrumb mixture.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat, sear the chicken breasts until golden brown on both sides—about 3-4 minutes each side.
- Transfer the chicken to a baking dish.
- In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- Pour in the heavy cream, stirring to combine, and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes.
- Pour the garlic sauce over the chicken in the baking dish.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
- Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
Let chicken rest before serving for juicier results. Can be made ahead and stored in the fridge.
