Description

A quick and easy pasta dish with a creamy garlic sauce, perfect for busy weeknights.


Ingredients

  • 8 ounces pasta
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)


Instructions

  1. In a large pot, melt the butter over medium heat.
  2. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Add pasta and milk to the pot, stirring well.
  4. Bring to a simmer and cook for 10-12 minutes, or until the pasta is cooked and most of the milk is absorbed.
  5. Stir in the Parmesan cheese, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley if desired.

Notes

Make sure to stir the pasta occasionally while it cooks to prevent sticking. Adjust the garlic amount to taste. For extra creaminess, add cream or more cheese. You can also add vegetables like spinach or cherry tomatoes.
