Description

A quick and comforting one-pan meal featuring tender chicken and buttery egg noodles, perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 2 cups egg noodles
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • Parmesan cheese (optional, for serving)

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, melt 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat. Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  2. Add the chicken to the skillet and cook for 5-7 minutes on each side until fully cooked. Remove the chicken and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add the chicken broth and bring to a simmer. Add the egg noodles and cook according to package instructions until al dente.
  4. Once the noodles are cooked, stir in the remaining butter and minced garlic.
  5. Slice the chicken and serve it over the noodles, garnished with Parmesan cheese if desired.

Notes

For a creamier texture, add a splash of heavy cream or a dollop of cream cheese when stirring in the butter.
