Ingredients
- 2 chicken breasts
- 2 cups egg noodles
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup chicken broth
- Parmesan cheese (optional, for serving)
Instructions
- In a large skillet, melt 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat. Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
- Add the chicken to the skillet and cook for 5-7 minutes on each side until fully cooked. Remove the chicken and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the chicken broth and bring to a simmer. Add the egg noodles and cook according to package instructions until al dente.
- Once the noodles are cooked, stir in the remaining butter and minced garlic.
- Slice the chicken and serve it over the noodles, garnished with Parmesan cheese if desired.
Notes
For a creamier texture, add a splash of heavy cream or a dollop of cream cheese when stirring in the butter.
