Description

A simple and quick recipe for delicious banana bread that requires only one bowl for mixing, making cleanup a breeze.


Ingredients

  • 3 large bananas (or 4 small bananas)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 2/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs (room temperature)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F, grease a 9×5 inch loaf pan, and set it aside.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, mash the bananas.
  3. Add melted butter to the mashed bananas and whisk until combined.
  4. Stir in sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract.
  5. Gently fold in the dry ingredients including flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
  6. Pour the batter into the pre-greased loaf pan.
  7. Bake for about 60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  8. Let it cool on a wire rack for 5-10 minutes before transferring.

Notes

For best results, use overripe bananas. Add nuts or chocolate chips for extra flavor.
