Ingredients
- 3 large bananas (or 4 small bananas)
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)
- 2/3 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs (room temperature)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F, grease a 9×5 inch loaf pan, and set it aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, mash the bananas.
- Add melted butter to the mashed bananas and whisk until combined.
- Stir in sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract.
- Gently fold in the dry ingredients including flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
- Pour the batter into the pre-greased loaf pan.
- Bake for about 60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let it cool on a wire rack for 5-10 minutes before transferring.
Notes
For best results, use overripe bananas. Add nuts or chocolate chips for extra flavor.
