A deliciously moist and sweet banana bread perfect for breakfast, snacks, or dessert.
Ingredients
- 3 ripe bananas
- 1/3 cup melted butter
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- Pinch of salt
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 large egg, beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork until smooth.
- Stir the melted butter into the mashed bananas.
- Mix in the baking soda and salt.
- Add the sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla, and mix until combined.
- Stir in the flour until just incorporated.
- Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 60-65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let the bread cool in the pan for a few minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
Make sure your bananas are very ripe for the best flavor and sweetness. You can add nuts or chocolate chips for extra texture.
