Ingredients
- 4 chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Fresh basil for garnish
Instructions
- Season the chicken breasts generously with salt and pepper.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and wait until it shimmers.
- Carefully place chicken in the skillet and sear until browned on both sides, about 5-7 minutes.
- Remove the chicken and set aside on a plate.
- Add sun-dried tomatoes to the skillet and sauté for about a minute.
- Pour in heavy cream and chicken broth, stirring in garlic powder and Italian seasoning.
- Bring to a gentle simmer, return the chicken, and cook until fully cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
