Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 cup macaroni noodles
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup onion, chopped
- 2 eggs
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon mustard powder
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook the macaroni noodles according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, onion, eggs, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, mustard powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, mix cooked macaroni with milk and 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese.
- In a greased casserole dish, layer the meat mixture, then top with the macaroni and cheese mixture.
- Sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese on top.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the meat is cooked through and the casserole is bubbly.
- Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
Make sure to drain the macaroni well to avoid excess water in the casserole. You can use different types of cheese for a unique flavor.
