Description

A vibrant and flavorful dish of ground chicken, spiced up with sriracha and complemented by bright bell peppers.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • 1 bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 green onion, sliced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil for cooking


Instructions

  1. Heat sesame oil in a skillet over medium heat until shimmering.
  2. Add minced garlic and ginger, and sauté until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
  3. Cook ground chicken until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Stir in soy sauce, sriracha, and rice vinegar, and let bubble for 1 minute.
  5. Add the chopped bell pepper and cook until tender, about 3-4 minutes.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste and garnish with sliced green onions before serving.

Notes

Serve over a bed of greens or as a filling in lettuce wraps. For an extra chilly pairing, enjoy with a cucumber salad.
