Ingredients
- 4 chicken breasts, boneless skinless
- 1 cup bread crumbs
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F.
- In one dish, mix breadcrumbs, half the Parmesan cheese, and the Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- In another dish, beat the eggs and milk together.
- Place the flour in a third dish.
- Dredge each chicken breast in flour, then dip it in the egg mixture, and finally coat it with the breadcrumb mixture.
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Cook each chicken breast for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Transfer the cooked chicken to a baking dish.
- In a bowl, mix the remaining Parmesan cheese with mozzarella cheese and minced garlic. Spread this mixture evenly over the chicken.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through.
Notes
Use freshly grated Parmesan cheese for the best flavor. You can customize the seasoning to suit your taste.
