Description

A fun and hearty dish bringing together the flavors of a classic burger without the bun, perfect for a quick meal or casual get-together.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef (or turkey)
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or American)
  • 1/2 cup pickles, sliced
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for cooking


Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat a little olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add the chopped onion and cook until it becomes soft.
  3. Add the ground beef to the skillet, breaking it up with a spatula. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Cook until the beef is browned and fully cooked, about 5-7 minutes.
