A fun twist on a classic dish, these Lasagna Roll-ups are packed with flavors and cheesy goodness, making them perfect for family dinners or gatherings.
Ingredients
- 12 lasagna noodles
- 1 pound ground beef
- 2 cups ricotta cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions until al dente, then drain and set aside.
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat; season with salt and pepper.
- In a bowl, mix together ricotta cheese, 1 cup of mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, egg, Italian seasoning, and the cooked ground beef.
- Lay a lasagna noodle flat and spread a generous amount of the beef and cheese mixture along the length of the noodle. Roll it up carefully and place it seam-side down in a baking dish.
- Repeat with the remaining noodles and filling.
- Top the rolled lasagna with marinara sauce and the remaining mozzarella cheese.
- Cover the dish with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
Serve warm topped with extra marinara sauce and garnish with fresh basil or parsley.
