Description

A fun twist on a classic dish, these Lasagna Roll-ups are packed with flavors and cheesy goodness, making them perfect for family dinners or gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 12 lasagna noodles
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions until al dente, then drain and set aside.
  3. In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat; season with salt and pepper.
  4. In a bowl, mix together ricotta cheese, 1 cup of mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, egg, Italian seasoning, and the cooked ground beef.
  5. Lay a lasagna noodle flat and spread a generous amount of the beef and cheese mixture along the length of the noodle. Roll it up carefully and place it seam-side down in a baking dish.
  6. Repeat with the remaining noodles and filling.
  7. Top the rolled lasagna with marinara sauce and the remaining mozzarella cheese.
  8. Cover the dish with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
  9. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  10. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Serve warm topped with extra marinara sauce and garnish with fresh basil or parsley.
