A low-carb twist on the classic Philly cheesesteak, these rolls are filled with seasoned ground beef, creamy cheese, and vibrant veggies wrapped in a low-carb tortilla.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup cream cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 onion, sliced
- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Low carb tortillas or cheese wraps
Instructions
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook your ground beef until it’s beautifully browned, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add the sliced onion and bell pepper to the skillet, and cook for another 5 minutes until they’re tender.
- Stir in the softened cream cheese and shredded mozzarella until melted together into a creamy mixture.
- Season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper, tasting as you go.
- Spoon the beef mixture onto your low carb tortillas or cheese wraps, and roll them up tightly.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
Let the cream cheese sit at room temperature for easier mixing. You can also add spices for a twist and make sure to use fresh ingredients for maximum flavor.
