Delicious and cheesy breadsticks perfect for dipping and sharing.
Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon instant yeast
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup warm water
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix flour, yeast, and salt.
- Gradually add warm water and olive oil, stirring until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out the dough into a rectangle and transfer it to a baking sheet.
- Melt butter in a small saucepan, add minced garlic, and parsley.
- Brush the garlic butter over the dough, then sprinkle with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden.
- Allow to cool slightly, then cut into sticks and serve warm.
Notes
Serve warm with marinara, ranch, or pesto. Can add herbs or spices for extra flavor.
