Ingredients
- 1 pound chicken breasts, cut into strips
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup flour
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cooking spray or olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Set up a dredging station with three bowls: one for flour, one for beaten eggs, and one for breadcrumbs mixed with paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Dip each chicken strip in flour, then into the egg, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.
- Place the coated chicken strips on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Lightly spray the tenders with cooking spray or drizzle with olive oil.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until cooked through and golden brown. Serve hot.
Notes
For extra flavor, add garlic powder or Italian seasoning to the breadcrumb mixture. Consider using whole wheat breadcrumbs for a healthier option.
