Description

Delicious and healthier alternative to fried chicken, crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound chicken breasts, cut into strips
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooking spray or olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Set up a dredging station with three bowls: one for flour, one for beaten eggs, and one for breadcrumbs mixed with paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Dip each chicken strip in flour, then into the egg, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.
  4. Place the coated chicken strips on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Lightly spray the tenders with cooking spray or drizzle with olive oil.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until cooked through and golden brown. Serve hot.

Notes

For extra flavor, add garlic powder or Italian seasoning to the breadcrumb mixture. Consider using whole wheat breadcrumbs for a healthier option.
