A comforting yet classy dish with savory smoked salmon and a zesty lemon cream sauce, ready in just 20 minutes.
Ingredients
- 8 oz Linguini Pasta
- 2 tbsp Butter (or olive oil)
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 cup Heavy Cream (or non-dairy cream)
- 1/2 juice of Lemon
- 8 oz Cold-smoked Salmon
- 2 tbsp Capers
- 1/4 cup Fresh Parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the linguini until al dente. Reserve a cup of pasta water, then drain.
- Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat, then add minced garlic and sauté for about a minute.
- Pour in heavy cream, stir, and let simmer. Add lemon juice, and adjust thickness with reserved pasta water if needed.
- Fold in cold-smoked salmon and capers, then add linguini and toss to combine.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
Taste and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper. Pair with a green salad for a balanced meal.
