Ham and Cheese Sliders are a crowd-pleaser perfect for parties, game days, or a simple family dinner, featuring sweet rolls filled with gooey cheese and savory ham.
Ingredients
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 (12-ounce) package Hawaiian sweet rolls
- 12 slices Swiss cheese
- 12 thin slices deli ham
- 1 teaspoon poppy seeds
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and arrange a rack in the middle.
- Melt the butter in a small bowl in the microwave or on the stove.
- Whisk in Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, onion powder, and kosher salt.
- Cut the Hawaiian sweet rolls in half horizontally without separating them, placing the bottom half in a baking dish.
- Layer 6 slices of Swiss cheese on the bottom half.
- Add deli ham slices over the cheese.
- Place the remaining Swiss cheese on top of the ham.
- Cover with the top half of the rolls.
- Brush the butter mixture on top and sprinkle with poppy seeds.
- Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 20 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 7 to 8 minutes until the top is browned.
- Cut into individual sliders and serve.
Notes
Assemble and refrigerate sliders up to 1 day in advance. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
