Description

A delightful fusion of grilled cheese and burrito, perfect for a quick and satisfying meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning (or homemade blend)
  • 1 cup cooked white rice
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup nacho cheese sauce
  • 1/4 cup chipotle sauce
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • Butter or oil for grilling

Instructions

  1. Begin by browning the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat. Once cooked, drain excess grease and add taco seasoning with 1/4 cup of water. Let it simmer for 5 minutes.
  2. Heat the tortillas in a dry skillet or in the microwave to make them flexible.
  3. Lay a tortilla flat. Layer on the cooked rice, seasoned beef, nacho cheese, chipotle sauce, and sour cream. Top off with shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheese.
  4. Heat a clean skillet and sprinkle about 2 tablespoons of shredded cheese in it. Place the burrito seam-side down and cook until the cheese melts and forms a crispy crust. Flip the burrito and cook for another 3–4 minutes.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider adding diced tomatoes or jalapeños. Use a mix of cheeses for varied flavor or substitute ground beef for shredded chicken or lentils for a vegetarian option.
