Description

Ingredients

  • 2 inches Fresh Ginger Root
  • Juice of half a Lemon
  • 1 teaspoon Honey (optional)
  • A pinch of Cayenne Pepper
  • A pinch of Turmeric (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons Water


Instructions

  1. Wash and peel the ginger.
  2. Slice the ginger into smaller pieces.
  3. Place the ginger, lemon juice, water, and honey (if using) into a blender.
  4. Blend until slushy.
  5. Strain the mixture through a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth to extract the juice.
  6. Discard the pulp and pour the juice into a shot glass.

Notes

Store in a sealed jar in the fridge for up to 2–3 days. Shake before use if you added honey or lemon.
