Description
Delicious, bite-sized churro bites made easily in the air fryer, offering the same taste and texture as traditional churros with less oil.
Ingredients
- 1 cup flour
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine water, butter, and salt. Bring to a boil.
- Stir in the flour until the mixture forms a ball.
- Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time until smooth.
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Transfer the dough to a piping bag and pipe small bite-sized pieces onto parchment paper.
- Lightly spray with cooking spray and air fry for 8-10 minutes until golden brown.
- Mix sugar and cinnamon in a bowl.
- Roll churro bites in the cinnamon-sugar mixture before serving.
Notes
Serve warm for the best taste; can be enjoyed plain or with dipping sauces.
