Description
A comforting and delicious one-pan meal featuring juicy chicken and buttery egg noodles, perfect for a busy weeknight dinner.
Ingredients
- 2 chicken breasts
- 8 ounces egg noodles
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Parsley for garnish
Instructions
- In a large skillet, melt 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then add them to the skillet. Cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes per side. Remove the chicken and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Stir in the chicken broth and bring it to a simmer.
- Add the egg noodles to the skillet, cover, and cook for about 8-10 minutes or until the noodles are tender and have absorbed most of the liquid.
- Stir in the remaining tablespoon of butter and mix until melted. Slice the cooked chicken and nestle it back into the skillet.
- Garnish with parsley before serving. Enjoy your meal!
Notes
For extra flavor, season the chicken well and add veggies like spinach or peas when you add the noodles. Try different types of pasta or use boneless thighs for variation.
