Description

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon dried Italian herbs
  • ½ cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
  • Fresh basil for garnish, optional


Instructions

  1. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the chicken to the skillet and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Pour in the chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine.
  6. Add the dried Italian herbs and sun-dried tomatoes. Allow the mix to simmer for about 5 minutes.
  7. Return the chicken to the skillet and cook for another 2-3 minutes, allowing it to soak up the flavors.
  8. Serve warm, garnished with fresh basil if desired.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in the olive oil, garlic, and herbs for about an hour before cooking. Add a pinch of red pepper flakes for a little kick.
