Ingredients
- 4 Potatoes (cut into 1/2 inch cubes)
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 1/4 tsp Black Pepper
- 1/4 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1/4 tsp Onion Powder
- 1 tbsp Butter
- 1 tbsp Oil
- 1 tbsp Chopped Parsley (fresh, or 1/2 tsp dried)
Instructions
- Cut all potatoes into small 1/2 inch cubes, ensuring uniform pieces for even cooking.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add 1 tablespoon of butter and 1 tablespoon of oil.
- Add chopped potatoes to the hot skillet, spreading them evenly and tossing to coat in butter and oil.
- Season with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Cover the skillet and steam for 3-4 minutes.
- Remove the lid and stir, then cook uncovered for 7-10 minutes, stirring every 2-3 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
- Check for doneness; potatoes should be crispy outside and tender inside.
- Finish by sprinkling fresh parsley over the cooked potatoes and serve hot.
Notes
For extra crispiness, spread cooked potatoes on a baking sheet and broil for 1-2 minutes.
