Delicious and healthy treats made with ripe bananas and oats, perfect for a snack or dessert.
Ingredients
- 2 ripe bananas
- 1 cup oats
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas.
- Add oats, peanut butter, honey (or maple syrup), vanilla extract, and baking powder to the mashed bananas; mix until well combined.
- Drop spoonfuls of the cookie dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden.
- Let cool before serving.
Notes
Make sure your bananas are very ripe for the best flavor. For a different taste, substitute peanut butter with almond or sunflower seed butter.
