Description

Quick and flavorful brown sugar pork chops that are easy to prepare and cook in just 30 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless pork chops, about 1 inch thick
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, combine brown sugar, chili powder, dried oregano, Cajun seasoning, paprika, and garlic powder. Mix well.
  2. Pat the pork chops dry with a paper towel. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Rub the spice mixture on each chop, covering both sides.
  4. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat until hot.
  5. Cook the pork chops for 4-5 minutes on each side until they reach an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C) and have a caramelized crust.
  6. Remove from skillet and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

For a more intense flavor, let the seasoned pork chops rest for 15-30 minutes before cooking. Store leftovers in an airtight container for 3-4 days.
