Delicious and healthy chocolate chip cookies made with Greek yogurt for a creamy texture and reduced fat.
Ingredients
- 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
- 0.5 cups plain full-fat Greek yogurt
- 0.75 cups brown sugar
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix the dry ingredients: flour, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, combine Greek yogurt, melted butter, vanilla, egg, and brown sugar.
- Gently blend the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined.
- Fold in chocolate chips.
- Cover the dough and chill in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
- Bake until barely set, about 10-12 minutes, and let cool on the tray for a few minutes.
Notes
For best results, be sure to chill the dough for at least 3 hours to ensure cookies have the perfect texture.
