Description

Delicious and healthy chocolate chip cookies made with Greek yogurt for a creamy texture and reduced fat.


Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 cups plain full-fat Greek yogurt
  • 0.75 cups brown sugar
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract


Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the dry ingredients: flour, baking soda, and salt.
  2. In another bowl, combine Greek yogurt, melted butter, vanilla, egg, and brown sugar.
  3. Gently blend the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  4. Fold in chocolate chips.
  5. Cover the dough and chill in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours.
  6. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  7. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
  8. Bake until barely set, about 10-12 minutes, and let cool on the tray for a few minutes.
