Description

A delicious low-sugar berry crumble that’s healthy and easy to make, perfect for satisfying dessert cravings without the sugar crash.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups mixed berries (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/4 cup almond flour (optional)
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil or butter
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup or honey
  • Zest of 1 lemon
  • Cinnamon (to taste)
  • Chopped nuts (pecans, walnuts, or almonds, optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine the mixed berries and lemon zest.
  3. In another bowl, mix together oats, almond flour, coconut oil, maple syrup, and cinnamon until crumbly.
  4. Spread the berry mixture in a baking dish and top with the oat mixture.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes until the topping is golden brown and berries are bubbly.
  6. Let cool for at least 10 minutes before serving.

Notes

Serve warm with Greek yogurt for added protein. This dish can be made in advance and reheated for best results.
