Description
A festive snack combining rice Chex cereal, peanut butter, and chocolate, coated in powdered sugar, perfect for sharing on Valentine’s Day.
Ingredients
- 4 cups rice Chex cereal
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- Sprinkles (optional for decoration)
- Red or pink candy melts (optional)
Instructions
- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the chocolate chips, peanut butter, and butter. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until melted and smooth.
- Add the rice Chex cereal to a large bowl and pour the melted chocolate mixture over it. Gently stir until all the cereal is coated.
- Transfer the coated cereal into a large zip-top bag, add the powdered sugar, and shake until well-coated.
- If using, melt the red or pink candy melts and drizzle over the coated cereal for an extra festive touch.
- Spread the mixture on a baking sheet to cool. Once set, add sprinkles if desired. Enjoy your Cupid Puppy Chow!
Notes
Store in an airtight container at room temperature for about a week. Customize with different cereals or chip flavors as desired.
