Description

A comforting, hands-off dish made with layers of frozen cheese ravioli, savory meat sauce, and a blend of gooey cheeses.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 can (24 oz) pasta sauce
  • 1 package (25 oz) frozen cheese ravioli
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning


Instructions

  1. In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat for about 5-7 minutes, or until browned and cooked through. Drain the excess fat.
  2. Stir in the pasta sauce, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. Simmer for about 5 minutes.
  3. In a greased slow cooker, spread a thin layer of the meat sauce to start.
  4. Layer half of the frozen ravioli over the sauce, spacing them out evenly.
  5. Top with half of the remaining meat sauce, followed by half of each cheese.
  6. Repeat the layers with the remaining ravioli, sauce, and cheese, finishing with a generous layer of cheese on top.
  7. Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours, or until the dish is heated through and the cheese is melty and bubbly.
  8. Serve hot and enjoy.

Notes

For a vegetarian option, use sautéed vegetables or mushrooms in place of the ground beef.
